Summer Camp
Welcome to Summer at the Y!!
When school’s out, the Y is here to keep kids safe and engaged in fun, healthy activities to let working moms and dads rest easy.
Our Summer Explorer Program is for children ages 3 to 5 years old. No two days are alike at this special summer program especially designed for our very youngest children. Kids will enjoy story time, art, music, science, nature, creative play, active games, sports and a balance of individual and group activities. There are weekly themes, special days, mini trips and tons of fun. Instructional swim is offered twice a week on Monday & Wednesday morning. This summer program is a part of our YMCA Learning Center program.

Our Discovery Camp is for kids who have completed grades K-5. Campers will participate in a wide range of sports, instructional swimming, dance & drama, arts & crafts, special trips, weekly themed days, environmental science, character development activities and many exciting adventures. To create balance, our recreational reading component is designed as an integral part of this program to help kids sharpen their reading skills throughout the summer months.

Summer Leaders in Training Program - this program is for kids who have completed grades 6-7-8. This program helps teens develop leadership and interpersonal skills as they learn the importance of being a positive influence in the development of children onsite at the Discovery Camp.

As a charitable organization our goal is to never deny any individual the right to participate in any YMCA program due to financial hardship.
